The Beginner's Guide To The Blues (3 CD) (藍調音樂精華)
By Various
NSBOX018
(Nascente)

The Beginner's Guide To The Blues is the latest release in Nascente's hugely popular Beginner's Guide series. This 3 CD collection traces the history of the blues from its acoustic roots in rural Mississippi on CD1, on to its electrification and urbanisation in Chicago and other American cities during the 1950s on CD2 and brings the story up to date on CD3 by paying tribute to those who have keep the spirit and tradition of the blues alive in a modern world that would be barely recognisable to the descendents of slaves and sharecroppers who invented the music a century ago.
